The project for developing sustainable energy transition and security by AS Valga Depoo received support from the Enterprise and Innovation Foundation for ensuring supply reliability.
Summary of the project:
As part of the Valga Depoo AS project, a solar energy production unit with a capacity of 100 kW and an energy storage system with a capacity of 51.2 kWh will be installed. The project is financed by the European Union through the NextGenerationEU recovery fund, with a grant amounting to 27,369.90 euros.
Project goal and outcome:
The addition of a 100 kW solar power generation device and a 51.2 kWh electrical energy storage solution is an important step for AS Valga Depoo to ensure supply reliability and reduce environmental impact.
The project "Valga Depoo AS Resource Efficiency Investment" received support from the European Regional Development Fund.
Summary of the project:
As a result of the resource efficiency investment, Valga Depoo AS's production will become more resource-efficient, and railcars will be repaired with lower resource usage and higher productivity. With the new equipment, production will become faster, larger in scale, and more resource-efficient.
Project goal and outcome:
The aim of the project is to improve resource use and increase resource productivity. As a result of the project, the company's resource costs will decrease because less resource will be needed to produce a unit of output. When the project outcomes are implemented, Valga Depoo AS will be able to carry out repairs faster, enabling an increase in production volume while keeping fixed costs and resource consumption lower. The amount of support applied for is €176,000.
